Let us know if you have any other questions. I suggest using this widget in place of the Unique ID for the purpose of displaying the Order Number in your form. It also has the feature to scan the existing submissions data for uniqueness. Unlike the Random Value Generator widget whatever value is displayed on the form, it will be the same value that is displayed on the Submissions table. Therefore, your purpose of passing the value from the Unique ID to a Short Text field to display the Order number will not work since the actual ID is generated after form submission. This means the values/data that are displayed in the Build mode and in the Preview mode are garbage. This concludes that the Unique ID widget will generate the final ID (value) upon form submission. If you notice also that the Order Number (Short Text field) and the Form Calculation Widget have a similar numerical value. Different value/data from the Build mode.īut once the form is submitted, the Unique ID (Order Number1) generates a different ID (value). This is also what it shows in the Preview mode. Now, I open 2 Form Builder pages on a separate tab and both display different data. On the clone copy of your form, I've added a Form Calculation widget that will display whatever the content of the Unique ID. After form submission, different data will display in the Submissions table. You're right! There are different data that are showing while on the Build mode and different data when it's on the Preview mode.
